Ultimate Makeover living/dining room/kitchen
Organization and complete decoration of a 50 m2 living space
The challenge was considerable and had to fulfil three main requirements:

to be able to open all the windows from one end to the other of the 50 sq. m. living space to take advantage of the magnificent cityscape;
-
to create a "chic" loft-style ambiance in this new, top-floor apartment;

to use environmentally-friendly materials with the minimum of VOCs and formaldehyde and using de-polluting plants.
We met these challenges by adopting an open space configuration, while retaining a "cocoon" kitchen area with the extractor, cooking hob etc. out of sight from the living area.
We created a chic loft-style decoration combining imitation white metallic brick wallpaper, waxed concrete with a riveted plate effect on one side and "demolished wall" on the other.
Spacious, tall lacquered cupboards providing ample storage space complete the arrangement, with a choice of leather designer furniture, steel lighting all the way along one wall and two dual-purpose ceiling fans (summer/winter ventilation and lighting).
The entire design is set off by accessories such as an oversize clock, a designer lacquered electric fireplace and tall plants that accentuate the elegance and impact of this living space.
