Complete re-design and optimization of a 110 sq.-m. apartment purchased off-plan

 

 

Dissatisfied with the developer's choice in terms of the apartment's layout and space use, the future owners wanted to optimize the space to suit their needs and lifestyle.

 

A certain number of issues needed to be addressed:

 

• fully taking advantage of the apartment's odd shape overall;

• the lack of entrance hall;

• a hallway to the sleeping area that was too long and isolating and hindered access to the bedrooms and, to crown it all,

• the lack of a separate toilet in the living area, forcing guests to use the main bathroom in the sleeping area – totally unacceptable in a 110 sq.-m. luxury apartment.

 

The layout of the 110 sq.-m. apartment was therefore totally redesigned to optimize each square metre of space and transform it into a 3-4 bedroom dwelling that is practical and welcoming and exactly what the owners wanted.
